Have you ever wondered how great it would be to have a seasoned executive on your team but were not in a position to pay for a full time person?  Imagine having years of experience at your disposal whether it is for a short time, longer period or on an as needed basis.  Temporary executives have been around for a long time handling CFO and CEO responsibilities and are even more popular in today’s economic times.

As an accounting major with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland and over thirty years experience as a Chief Financial Officer and VP of Operations I have developed an ability to get to a problem fast and find solutions.  As an outside consultant I can extract information from company personnel that they would not normally share with a company official.  The majority of my experience is with closely held corporations working with the stockholders in all areas including lease negotiations, creating difficult bank agreements, creating stockholder's agreements, buy / sale agreements and any other areas where my creative skills come into play.  A company facing bankruptcy has special problems and needs that can be difficult to manage.  The situation is tense to begin with and extremely stressful to navigate through the rules and regulations.  This is an area that I would be able to assist and bring an experienced eye to the process.

When coming into a situation at a company I approach it from a practical view.  In order to resolve issues within a company one must understand the culture of that company.  The culture of a company is extremely important with the issues at hand.  Many consultants ignore it and as a result the solution they recommend will not work.  I talk to staff and get their opinions, which in many cases are very thoughtful and can serve as a basis to get to the root of the problems.  Sometimes adjusting how a company operates will have a major impact on the financial picture and can be part of the solution.

For the past three years I have been building my own business but am ready to get back into Corporate America.  I miss it and am in a position to help many different organizations that just need an outside look from a seasoned professional.

As you glance through this website there is a sample business plan  and a manual on how to do lease options that I wrote.  These are presented to give any potential client an idea on how I approach such reports.
